Hope Mills, NC Debbie Gilmore Stanley went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at The Veterans Hospice Care in Durham. Debbie was a US Air Force veteran serving in the Security Police Squadron obtaining the rank of Sergeant. She was a homemaker and an artist. Debbie attended First Baptist Church in Hope Mills, NC and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Graham, NC. She is survived by her mother, Leigh Lawhon Bouldin and her step father, Don Bouldin of Graham; father, Ralph Gilmore of Wadesboro; sister, Wanda Gilmore Johnson and her husband, Paul of Burlington; nieces, Stephanie Todd McKinney and Ashleigh Johnson; great nieces, Karon and Isleigh McKinney; great nephews, Noah and Griffin Thompson and Kyle McKinney and her special friend, Bobby Hicks of Hope Mills, NC. She loved her two dogs and faithful companions, Bailey and Zoey. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, September 3, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Jackson and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park with military honors provided by the US Air Force. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 prior to the services and other times at the home of her mother and step father.
