Deborah Rice

Deborah "Debbie" Bolen Rice, 58, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Moses Cone Hospital following a short illness. She was born December 1, 1956 in Guilford County to the late Charles W. and Betty Jean Andrews Bolen. She was married to Anthony "Tony" Rice who survives. Debbie was known as "Bubbles" a fun loving person who never met a stranger. If she met you and you were not smiling she gave you hers. She was a very talented person who enjoyed cooking, making crafts and loving her favorite girlie girls Lexie Lou and Dottie Mae. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband of the home; daughters, Dena Jenkins and husband Joe of Burlington, Stefanie Poe and her husband Kevin of Elon, Leanna Jenkins of Burlington; grandchildren, Robyn Jenkins, Ryan Jenkins, Bailey Poe, Triston Barbour, Skylar Johnson and C.J. Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Bobby Bolen. The funeral will be held 3:00 PM Friday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Rodney Murray. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 PM Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and other times at the home of her daughter Dena, 2154 Cheyenne Dr., Burlington.
