Deborah "Debbie" Maness

Deborah “Debbie” Harrelson Maness, 66, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of 45 years to Charlie Maness and the daughter of the late Pete Harrelson, Jr. and Helen Loftis Harrelson.

Debbie retired from GE in Mebane after 40 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, making different crafts, camping and going to their house in the mountains. She was always spoiling her grandkids, if they wanted it they got it. Debbie also looked forward to lunch dates with her friends.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie Maness of the home; daughters, Mandy Maness and Melissa LaPoint and husband, Darius; grandchildren, Chris Holmes, Jalen Holmes, Shelby LaPoint, Shyanne LaPoint and Skylar LaPoint; great grandchild, Gabriella “Gabby” Holmes; sister, Wanda Clark and husband, Tim; brother, Pete Harrelson and wife, Amy and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and twin infant brothers, Earl and Gearl.

A Celebration of life Service will be held Wednesday February 16, 2022 at 4:00pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Darrell Massey. The family will receive friends from following the service in the chapel foyer.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Community Hospice for their kind and compassionate care for Debbie.
