Debra Dunbar

Ontario, Canada Debra Lee Hawk Dunbar, 50, of Ontario, Canada passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Duke University Medical Center. She was born in Alamance County to the late Jesse James Hawk and the late Gaynell Long Hawk and was married to Allan Dunbar, who survives. Debra was a true caregiver to all her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of the home, son, Brian McIntyre of Burlington; daughters, Jayla Michael Gardner of Burlington and Katrina Munroe of Florida; grandchildren, Samuel Addison McIntyre, Marissa Leigh Brown, Giovanni and Giacobbe Munroe, Jackie, Joce, Jayden, Maddy, Mason and Robbie; sisters, Donna Ernie Myers of Elon, Delores Wright of Burlington and Dorothy Toney of Elon. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:45 to 1:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.
