Dennis Davis

Mr. Dennis Earl Davis, age 60, of 1327 Pollard Ave., died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Hospice Home after several months of failing health. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late David Earl Davis and the late Billie Maxine Hill Davis and was married for over 5 years to Mrs. Susan Walker Davis, who survives. Dennis was a longtime brick mason and member of New Life Church. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of the home; two step-children, Ian Brown and his wife, Jessica, of Staley, NC and Stevie Walker of Mebane; a step grandchild, Nina Brown; three sisters, Karen Smith and her husband, William, and Kathy Reid and her husband, Randy, all of Burlington and Gail Tucker and her husband, Alvis, of Mt. Airy, NC; and three brothers, Ronnie Davis and his wife, Linda, and Kenny Davis, all of Indianapolis, IN and Joe Davis and his wife, Sherry, of Hillsville, VA. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, May 21, 2012 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Don Overman. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-6 Sunday afternoon at the funeral home and other times at the residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Dennis Davis c/o 2205 S.
