Dewey Chidester Willen

Dewey Willen went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 13, 2026. Dewey was born on July 3, 1942 in Clinton, KY., to the late Dewey Allen Willen and Lula Ermon Dennis Willen.

Dewey was a member of Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church in Burlington, and enjoyed going until his health declined. He retired from United Parcel Service, after many years, working his way up from a driver to management before retiring. In his younger years he served his country in The United States Army.

Survivors include his wife Judy Pugh Willen; stepdaughter, Sharon Kudron (David) of Graham; granddaughter, Kyra Kudron; nieces, Eva Copeland and Mary Smith.

Along with his parents, Dewey was preceded in death by his brother, Millard (Bobby) and sister Wanda.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial donation be given to Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45am before. The committal will follow at Alamance Memorial Mausoleum.
