Elizabeth “Diana” Jones Harris went to Heaven on August 26, 2023. There she joined her parents, William Paul Jones and Kathryn Power Jones. Also waiting for her was her sister Paula Jones Fields.
Diana was born on February 13, 1959 in Burlington, NC. She graduated from NC State University and NC Baptist Hospital with a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. She later obtained her certification as a Specialist in Blood Banking and was licensed by the American Association of Clinical Pathologists. She worked at Moses Cone Hospital for over 25 years in the Blood Bank.
In addition to her parents and sister, Diana was preceded in death by grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington.
