Donna Gwynn Partin

Donna Gwynn Partin, 74, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026 at White Oak Manor. She was born in Alamance County and was the daughter of the late Emmett Bennett Partin and Irene Vick Partin.

For several years Gwynn made her home at Ralph Scott Group Homes where she brought joy to those around her with her sweet nature and positive outlook. She had a remarkable ability to find contentment in everyday life, rarely burdened by worry, and was happiest simply enjoying the moment. She dearly loved her family, had a special affection for animals, and took pride in her work at Vocational Trades. Her warm smile, kind heart, and joyful outlook on life will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.

She is survived by her brothers, Greg Partin and Charlie Partin (Donna) as well as several other extended family members.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Ralph Scott Group Homes for the compassionate care, support, and kindness they provided over the years. Their kindness and devotion enriched her life and brought comfort to her family.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bud Wrenn with entombment to follow in Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:45 Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
