Doris Woodard

Doris Edwards Woodard, 86, formerly of Siler City, died on Tuesday, December 1, 2008 at Guilford Health Care. She was born in Oakridge and was married to the late Clyde T. Edwards, Sr. and the late Samuel Gordon Woodard. She is survived by her sons, Clyde Ruby Edwards of Siler City and Wavern Delane Edwards of Florida; stepchildren, Tom Woodard of Greensboro, Orville Woodard of Stoneville and Marie Butler of Greensboro; several grandchildren and step grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Walter Jones. The family will receive friends following the service.
