Dorothy Apple

Burlington, NC Miss Dorothy Lee Apple, age 82 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 17, 2014. She was a native of Guilford County and the daughter of the late Elza Van and Corinna Hawk Apple. Dorothy retired from the Textiles Industry and was a member of Faith Bible Chapel. She is survived by her sister, Jeanette Bailiffe of Gibsonville and a sister-in-law, Betty Apple of McLeansville. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Lewis Edward Apple, Roland D. Apple and Elza "E.J. Junior "Johnny" Apple and a sister, Thelma J. Apple. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 11:00 am by Rev. Mark Robertson at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:45-10:45 am prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
