BURLINGTON- Louise Cook Woodlief, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the Hospice Home.  She was born on May 25, 1932 to the late Robert David and Dora Savannah Brown Cook and was the wife of the late Rufus Eugene Woodlief, Jr.

Louise was a member of Open Bible Baptist Church and worked many years for Glen Raven Mills.  She enjoyed making quilts, loved horses and was devoted to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; brothers, Albert, Shelton, Clay, Hermon and Harvey Lee Cook; sister, Gladys Rigney and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Eric Rudd with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
