Douglas Durham

Burlington, NC Douglas "Doug" Lynn Durham, age 60, of Mathis Trail died on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at his home. He was a native of Alamance County and the son of the late Hilda Phillips Durham and Carl Branson Durham who survives. Doug was a self-employed carpenter and US Coast Guard veteran serving during Vietnam. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Mark Hill of Prospect Hill; son, Scott Durham of Alabama; grandchildren, Dalton, Jakob and Elizabeth Hill, Daiman Durham; father, Carl Branson Durham; sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Kendell Davis of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Gregory Phillips Durham. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel by Rev. Gene Ferrell. There will not be a public visitation.
