Dr. Kapur

Dr. Kamlesh "Kamal" Madhodas Kapur, 65, of 202 Pinedale Drive passed away on Friday, December 22, 2006 at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. He was born in Bombay, India, son of the late Dr. Madhodas and Janak Kapur, and was married to Usha Sehgal Kapur, who survives. Dr. Kapur practiced Gastroenterology at the Medical Arts Center at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his wife of the home, 3 daughters, Alka Singh and her husband Ajay, Dr. Aarti Kapur and Kavita Kapur; 2 grandsons, Rohan and Akshay Singh; sister, Renu K. Kapoor and her husband Dr. Amrit Kapoor; and 2 brothers, Dr. Bhushan Kapur and his wife Ursula, and Vijay Kapur and his wife Sadhvi. A private service was held for the family on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2006 and a time of Family Remembrances at 8:00 PM.
