Earl Greeson, Sr.

Julian - Earl Dean Greeson, Sr., 77, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at his home. He was born in Guilford County to the late Ralph Burton Greeson and the late Ruth Greeson Greeson. He was co-owner/operator of Act III Hair Salon in Burlington. Survivors include his children, Earl Dean Greeson, Jr. and wife, Kathy of Pleasant Garden, Vanessa Wolfe of the home, Robin Jones and life partner, Larry Amick of Julian, Rene Penland and husband, James of Reeds, Paula Monnett and husband, Stephen of Climax; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson; sisters, Priscilla Lowe of Julian, Bonnie Thompson of Burlington and Gwyen Hall and husband Robert of Burlington; brothers, Marshall Greeson of Julian and R.B. Greeson and wife, Bonnie of Liberty. . He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, David Anthony Greeson; sister, Cindy Clapp and brother, Weldon Greeson. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the Mt. Hope United Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
