Edna Mae Price Massey

Edna was a member of Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church for many years.  During her husband’s numerous years of Pastoring, she loved the opportunity to worship with all of her different church families.  She enjoyed visiting sick friends, reading, singing, making crafts, front porch bird watching and watching her flowers grow.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother as well as a caring friend. 

She is survived by her daughters, Darlene Ray and husband Harold and June Graham and husband Randy; grandchildren, Alexandria “Alex” Brown, Jordan Parker and Susie Ray; four great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; a sister Brenda Hopkins and husband David; a brother Charles Price and his wife Shirley, as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.  Edna was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Felton J. Massey, a daughter, Kathy Massey Wilkinson, a granddaughter, Anita Diane Young, great grandson, D.J. Delimont, her parents, Coley and Winnie Price and a sister, Ruby Lee Mallett. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 2, 2023 in the chapel at Lowe Funeral Home by Rev. Don Pegg with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the funeral home as well as other times at the home of June and Randy Graham.
