BURLINGTON- Mrs. Edna Baldwin Reeves, 79, of 815 Plaid St., died Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at her home after five months of failing health. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late James Baldwin and the late Fannie Baldwin and was married to Edgar Louis Reeves, who survives. She retired from Western-Electric after 35 years service and was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Reeves is survived by her husband of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Linda Patterson and her husband, Tom, of the home, Mrs. Brenda Taylor and her husband, Jerry, of Graham, and Mrs. Vickie Corbett of Spring Hope, NC; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a sister, Peggy Lewis of Burlington; and three brothers, Arnold Baldwin of Burlington, Harold Baldwin, and Darrell Baldwin, both of Amerillo, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mack Baldwin. A cryptside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, December 2, 2005 at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel by the Rev. Powell Sykes. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 prior to the service at the mausoleum chapel and other times at the home. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Reeves family.
