Elizabeth Rose Davis of Mebane, NC departed this life and went to be with her heavenly father on June10th, 2023. Elizabeth was born on August 23rd, 1938 to John and Edith Sargent. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Edward Lee Davis Jr. as well as her siblings Hershel, Franklin, John, Naomi, and Barbara. She is survived by a bevy of her loved ones including her four children and their spouses, Rene Mitchell (John), Gary Davis (Connie), Edward Davis (Karla), and Alan Davis (Crystal); ten grandchildren, Philip, Courtney, Kelsey, Wesley, Grace, Chloe, Sophia, Lindsey, Matthias, and Katharina; and many great grandchildren.
A small but mighty spirit, she was the matriarch of a tight-knit family whom she loved dearly and spent her life building. She found joy in spending time traveling with her family when she could, filling her home with beautiful memories and mementos, and of course her and her husband’s shared love of lighthouses.
Following a private viewing, Elizabeth will be laid to rest at Westminster Gardens on Thursday, June 15th 2023 at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the charity of your choice in memory of Elizabeth Davis.
