Evelyn Roberta Grigg

Psalm 91:(1) "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (16) With a long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

Evelyn Roberta Grigg, 94 went home to be with Her Lord at home, after a few weeks of illness on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Roberta retired from the Burlington City Schools in 1995. She was a graduate of Kentucky Mountain Bible College in 1956. She attended Central Wesleyan College for a short time in 1957. Roberta taught Sunday School at People’s Memorial Christian Church for many years. She lived out her Christian faith in every area of her life and shared Jesus with everyone she met.

She was the daughter of the late Charles Robert and Cora Bell Crouch Grigg. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Marvin Grigg, Charles Robert Grigg, Jr. and Jerry Richard Grigg; her sisters, Carrie Wilma Daries and Frances Elaine Johnson. She is survived by her niece, Patricia Rogers who she lived with and her great niece, Eugenia Rudd; great great niece, Christie Kashani and great great great nephew, Elijah Kashani; her (adopted family), since she had no children of her own, Kya Oo, Mya Thin, Moe Ko and Waiyan Ko; her four legged fur babies, Daniel and Socks.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 2:00PM at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. David Grinnell and Rev. Dennis.
