Burlington Mrs. Evelyn Frances Daniels Michaels, 81 of 1934-B Tucker Street died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Hospice Home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Eddie Allen Daniels, Sr. and the late Ruth Elizabeth Shinn Daniels and married to Frederic "Fred" Michaels for fifty-four years who survives. Evelyn retired from Bellsouth and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and was formerly on the board of directors at the Summit Credit Union in Greensboro. Survivors include her husband of the home; daughter, Tracey L. Michaels of Burlington; son Kyle Michaels of Jamestown, grandson, Devin T. Michaels; brother, John Emerson Daniels of Greensboro; sister, Shirley Ann Moser of Aberdeen, NC and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Marjorie May; brothers, Eddie Allen Daniels, Jr. and Everette Eugene Daniels. The Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Alamance Memorial Park by Pastor Gary Williams. There will be no visitation. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Hospice Home Care Nurses and the Hospice Home Nurses and Staff for all their loving attention and support they gave to Evelyn and the family.
