Elon Fleta James Hart, 75 went home to be with the Lord Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was born in Guilford County on January 25, 1937 to the late Amos Thornton and Eliza Beshears James and was the wife of the late Billie Brown "Bill" Hart, Sr. She was employed with Cone Mills for over 18 years and retired from Hursey's Barbecue. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Ms. Hart is survived by her sons, Michael R. Hart and wife Amy of Gibsonville, Timothy L. Hart and Michelle Warren of the home, Tommy W. Hart, Sr. of Elon; daughter, Linda H. Osorto and husband Jose of Burlington; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Hart; brother, Jonas "Mutt" James and wife Rita; sisters-in-law, Shirley James and Frances James and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, Billie B. Hart, Jr. and brothers, Paul James, William James and David James. The funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Emmanuel Baptist Church by Pastor Delton Agnor with the burial to follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the brother's home at 5712 Hwy 61 N. in Gibsonville.
