Florin Daffron

Liberty, NC Florin Evron Daffron, 96, formerly of 2912 Timber Ridge Lake Rd. went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 20, 2006 at the Hospice Home in Burlington. He was born in Alamance County to the late Beecher and Lona Kimrey Daffron. He was a deacon and member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Liberty. He was a farmer, member of the National Wood Carvers Association and the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association. He was an avid wood carver and shared his projects with many of his church family and friends. Survivors include nephews, Florin Jenkins and his wife Margaret, Lynn Jenkins and his wife Janie, Dale Jenkins and his wife Beverly, and Michael Jenkins all of Liberty. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jewel Jenkins. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2007 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Bill Rice and Rev. Ryan Brigman. Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. prior to the service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The family would like to express a very special thank you to all the staff at Springview Assisted Living Facility in Graham and to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance Caswell who took such wonderful care of Evron.
