Burlington, NC Frances Delia Parrish Wrenn, age 85, of May Drive went home to be her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 5, 2008. She was a native of Forsyth County and the wife of the late Warren Ellis Wrenn. Frances retired from Carolina Biological Supply and was a US Navy veteran serving during WW II as a hospital apprentice. She was a member of Graham Friends Church where she was a member of the Mamie Thompson Missionary Circle and the Ladies Sunday School Class. Frances enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Lake Blalock and her husband, Harold of Haw River and Blanche Delia Wrenn of the home; grandchildren, John L. Moore and his wife, Alli of Graham, Warren Moore of Burlington; great grandson, Truman Andrew Moore; and her buddy "Nelson". She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Homer Vance and Blanche Nelson Parrish and her brother, H. V. Parrish. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Willard Janey and the burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery with honors provided by the US Navy. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the home. The family wishes to thank all the staff of the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell and the Burlington Kidney Center for their wonderful care of our mother and maw-maw.
