Franklin Delano Shoe
Franklin Delano Shoe, 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. He was born in Alamance County to the late Roy Roscoe and Gladys Hurley Shoe and was married to the late Rebecca Sue Shoe. He worked at Durham Regional Hospital for over 25 years and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Katie Pleasant (Trevor), Zach Shoe (Andria), Josh Shoe (Summer), Casey Shoe (Amanda) and Frankie Garvin; eight great grandchildren; and a sister, Nell Allison. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, daughter, Beverly Shoe Jackson, son, Franklin Donald Shoe and nine siblings.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Jeff McCarthy with interment to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.
