Fred Huffman

Fred Bryant Huffman, 71, of 3839 Quail Run Lane, died Sunday, January 29, 2006, suddenly at home. He was a native of Alamance County, husband of Lois Lanier Huffman and son of the late Jesse Vann and Lorena Jefferies Huffman. He was employed by Universal Forest Products, was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church and was a US Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of the home, daughters; Cindy Holshouser and her husband David Holshouser, Jr. of Danville, VA, Melinda Watkins and her husband Bob of Lewisville, step daughters; Kathy Tarlton and her husband Grover of Burlington, Tricia Graham and her husband Lyle of Cary, step son; Joey Janicki and his wife Dina of Graham, grandchildren; John David Holshouser, III., Emily Rebecca Holshouser, Noah Hunter Watkins, Ricky Tarlton, Andrea Tarlton, Addie Janicki, Jenna Janicki, Joey Janicki, sisters; Adeline Brodgen of Burlington, Doris Faulkner of Graham, special nephew Brad Campbell, sister in-law Hazel Smith and her husband Jim, brother in-law ; Wayne Lanier and his wife Jo. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother J.V. Huffman. A memorial service will be held 7:00pm Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Lee Roy Pittard III.
