Gary Woody

Gary Lynn Woody, 44 formerly of Burlington, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, January 11, 2013. He was self employed and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Angelia and Ronald Wright of Burlington; father, Tommy Woody and Jean of Graham; daughters, Summer Cox of Burlington and Briana Woody of Wilmington; son, Ethan Woody of Burlington; brothers, Keith Wright of Charlotte and Brock Wright and wife Ashley of Burlington; sister, Chandra Haswell and husband, Jeff of Raleigh and niece, Chloe Haswell. Gary was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ernest Bare and Cornelia Anderson; paternal grandparents, Tom Woody and Virginia McPherson Woody. The funeral service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Peoples Church of Mebane by Rev. Howard Blough. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm to 1:45pm Wednesday at the church prior to the service. At other times the family will be at the mother and step-father's home in Burlington.
