Gary Wright, Sr.

Burlington, NC Gary Gene Pete Wright, Sr. age 43, of 6052 David Moore Road died on Wednesday, February 22, 2006. He was a native of Williamson, Kentucky and the husband for twenty years of Michelle Lynn Wright who survives. Pete was employed as a tradesman for Southeastern Carpenters Union in Lexington and a member of Union # 312. He was a veteran serving in both the US Army and US Navy. Pete enjoyed fishing and golfing and he was a loving husband, father, son and brother. Survivors include his wife, Michelle Lynn Wright of the home; daughter, Christina Nicole Wright and son, Gary Gene PJ Wright, Jr. both of the home; parents, Noah Gene and Eula Blankenship Wright of Newton, NC; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tammy and Robert Klutz of Newton, NC, Deanah and Jeffrey Jacobs of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Noah Dean Duke and Patricia Wright of Newton, NC; paternal grandmother, Margie C. Wright of West Virginia; Selena Ann Wright of Arizona and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Brian Ayers. The burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park with military honors being provided by the US Army.
