George Edward "Eddie" Jones

Mr. George Edward “Eddie” Jones, age 77, of Burlington, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at his residence after a sudden illness.

     A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Edward Harold Jones and the late Helen Capes Jones and was married to the late Linda Clapp Jones, who passed in 2013.  He was a former Probation Officer with the State of North Carolina and later worked in retail sales.

     Eddie is survived by his daughter, LeeAnn Jones; his brother, Randy Jones and wife, Anita; step daughter, Sandy Langley and husband, Cory; step grandson, Hunter Ryan Langley; nephews, Brandon Jones and wife, Haley and Brad Jones and wife, Lora; and great niece and nephew, Taylor and Evan Jones.

     A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 29, 2022 at Pine Hill Cemetery by Pastor Darrell Massey.
