George Joseph Presto

George Joseph Presto, 82, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at his residence. He was born in White Plains, NY to Rocco and Angelina Manganiello Presto. He was married for 28 years to Susan Colley Presto.

He was the owner and operator of Presto’s Getty Oil Service Station for several years. George was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Durham Pistol and Rifle Club, was an avid golfer and loved cars, motorcycles, and trucks. George was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family.

George is survived by his beloved wife, Susan; son, George Presto II, daughters, Karen Moore (Chris) and Christen Presto; five grandchildren; his sister, Carole Versace (Pat) and a brother, Victor Presto (Elia).

A service to celebrate George’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 15th, 2026 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Fr. Jack Timlin. The family will receive friends following the service.
