George Williams

Burlington George Alvin "Bus" Williams, 87, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Hospice Home after one year of declining health. He was born in Hazleton, PA to the late George Williams and the late Edna Brucil Williams. George was the husband of 68 years to the late Marilyn Miller Williams who died in April of this year. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Arnold Ashley of Burlington; a grandson, Jeremy Ashley and wife, Kristin of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents. There will be a memorial service at 6:00 pm, Friday, September 13, 2013 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 933 W. Old Glencoe Rd., Burlington. The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 pm prior to the service at The Kingdom Hall. Lowe Funeral Home is serving the Williams family.
