Geraldine Stewart

Geraldine "Gerri" Shepherd Stewart, age 65, of 6816 Long Meadow Drive in Whitsett, died August 7, 2008. She was born in Guilford County on August 10, 1942 to Benjamin William Shepherd, Sr. and Christine Younger Shepherd. She was married to the late Bernard Stewart. Mrs. Stewart is survived by four daughters, Joanie Stumpf of High Point, Wendy Ellsworth of Whitsett, Penny Cude of Summerfield and Tammy Barrios of Greensboro; one son, Ben Andrews of Whitsett; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, William "Bill" Shepherd; and her "baby, Romeo". She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Rev. Wayne Wright will conduct the funeral service at 1:00 PM on Monday at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM on Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and at other times at the home of her daughter, Wendy Ellsworth, 1810 Andrews Farm Road, Whitsett, NC 27377
