Glenda Hurlocker Greeson

Glenda Hurlocker Greeson, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at the Hospice home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Alamance County and the daughter of the late John David Hurlocker and Betty Murray Hurlocker who survives. She was the wife of 59 years to the Fred Greeson, Jr. who survives.

Glenda retired from ABSS as a cafeteria worker at Elon Elementary. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Graham. Glenda enjoyed gardening and especially growing flowers. She was an excellent cook and loved her family especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and daughter.

Glenda is survived by her husband, Fred Greeson, Jr. of the home; her daughters, Karrie Martin and husband, Johnny of Youngsville and Kimberly Hinson husband, Garry of Mebane; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Jack) Gura, Madison (Matthew) Allen, Josh Martin and Garrett Hinson; her great granddaughter, Olivia Allen and one on the way; her mother, Betty Hurlocker of Burlington and her sister, Karen Trollinger and husband, Gregory of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister-in-law, Shirley Moricle.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at11:00AM, Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Rev. Reid Dickens and Dr. Dace Lewis will be officiating the service.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Hospice home for their kind and compassionate care for Glenda.
