Hal Wesley Sartin, Sr. age 91, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at ARMC surrounded by his family. He was born in Caswell County to the late Ezekiel Yancey and Minnie Wilson Sartin and was the husband of the late Janet Lamm Sartin who passed in 2023.
Hal was the Owner and Operator of Sartin’s Beauty Salon for 30 years. He was an US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War as a Military Policeman. He was a faithful member of Westminster Presbyterian in Burlington and served in various capacities for many years. Hal was a member of the Elks Lodge and enjoyed trips to the coast, dancing and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Hal is survived by his sons; Randy Sartin and wife, Gaye of Burlington and Wes Sartin and wife, Anita of Burlington and his daughter, Page Gregory and husband, Jon of Burlington; grandchildren; Ben Sartin, Ellie Sartin, McEwin Sartin, Charlie Sartin, Yancey Sartin, Quentin Gregory and Emmy Gregory; great grandchildren; Hayden and Hayes; his twin brother, Al Sartin and wife, Pat of Ashville. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and numerous siblings. The family would like to thank Hal's caregivers for their compassionate and care; Quincelyn, Lynn and Mel.
A cryptside service to celebrate his life will be held at 12Noon at Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Powell Sykes, officiating.
