Harold Somers

Reidsville, NC Harold Dean Somers, age 70 passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at his home. He was a native of Rockingham County and the husband of the late Barbara Sue Fesperman Somers. Harold retired from the Alamance Burlington School System. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church where he was a member of the Men's Group and Choir. Harold was an avid fisherman and nascar fan. Survivors include his son, Brandal Somers and his wife, Rhonda of Gibsonville and a grandson, Wesley Somers. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, Vance and Margaret Lucile Stanley Somers and a brother, Aubren Somers. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Gibsonville City Cemetery by pastor Bill McKinney. The family will receive friends from 1-2:45 pm prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
