Hazel Simpson

Hazel Pearl Black Simpson, age 94, formerly of North Church Street went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the Hospice Home. She was a homemaker and a member of Glen Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include a grandson, Clarence Simpson and step grandchildren, Marie and Joanne SImpson; sisters, Ruby Quakenbush of Graham, Ethel Faucette of Haw River and Opal Mack of Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Clinton Simpson; son, Clarence J. Simpson; parents, Charlie Melvin and Bessie Mary Ormon Black and a brother, Melvin E. Black. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2007 at Pine Hill Cemetery by Dr. Tommy Willis. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
