Henry Quinn

Henry L .Quinn, age 97, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at The Village of Brookwood. He was born in Grove Oak, Alabama to the late George Henry and Daisy Patterson Quinn. Henry retired from Eastern Airlines and was a US Army veteran serving in the North African and the European Theatres during WW II. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Charland Quinn; daughter, Pamela Bray of McLeansville and a son, Terrence Henry Quinn and his wife, Zulay of The Woodlands, Texas; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 11am at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. Military honors will be provided by the 82nd Airborne Division. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
