Howard Terry, Sr.

Howard Beamon Terry, Sr., 69, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009 at White Oak Manor. Mr. Terry was born July 11, 1939 in Guilford, County to the late Jasper and Mary C. Terry. He worked many years at the Skilled Nursing Division; was of the Church of God faith, and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Survivors include a son, H. B. Terry of Liberty; two grandchildren; three step-children, Charles Tharp, Margaret Guthrie, Bonnie Stanley; three brothers, Wesley Terry of Snow Camp, Haroldine Terry of Whitsett, Leon Terry; and a sister, Donna Lou Strouth of Randleman, A funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Olin Tatum. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Lowe Funeral Home, 2205 S. Church St. Burlington, NC 27215.
