Ina Ruby Moorefield

Ina was a former employee with China Inn Restaurant and retired after 12 years from Elon University as a server in the cafeteria. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, swimming but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Ina was a loving, warm hearted, Godly woman who will be dearly missed. She was a member of Lighthouse Chapel.

She is survived by her children, Emmie Geis and husband Henry, Susan Baldwin and husband Rodney, Manuel Moorefield and wife Nancy, Jane Willoughby and husband David; grandchildren, Keith Pegram, Sabrina Feltz and husband Lloyd, Sheila Pegram, James Cates, Tammy Cates, Ina Page and husband Billy, Beth Gomez and significant other John Paul, Tim Moorefield and Paul Willoughby; eleven great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Ina was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three children, David Pegram, Danny Pegram and Kathy Moorefield; and her siblings, Bertha Pegram, Mary Pegram, Frederick Ruby and Harold Ruby.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor William Baker with the burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
