Irene Terrell

Irene Aldridge Terrell formerly of 519 Riverside Dr. Burlington, died at 6:55 pm at the Hospice Home. She was the wife of Ben Harding Terrell for 62 years and the daughter of the late George Richard "Mr. Rich" and Lizzie Stainback Aldridge. A native of Caswell county she was a member of First Christian United Church Of Christ, and lifetime member of the Women's Fellowship. She is survived by her husband; Ben Harding Terrell of Burlington Manor, daughter; Cynthia "Cindy" Allen and husband Joe, of Carolina Beach, sons; Richard Edward "Rick" Terrell, Benjamin James "Benjie" Terrell and wife Tammy all of Burlington, grandchildren; Scott Cobb and wife Susan, Brooks Terrell, Matthew Terrell, great grandchildren; Madeline Cobb and Zachary Cobb, brother; Hulen W. Aldridge of Reidsville. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Ben Harding Terrell, Jr., infant twin daughters, Bennie Lou and Sandra Faye Terrell, parents, sisters; Sallie A. King, Pearl A. Boswell, Swannie A. Chandler, brothers; Carlton Aldridge and Stamie Aldridge. The Funeral Service will be held 2:00 Sunday at First Christian United Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4 to 6 pm Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home and at other times the home of son Rick Terrell, 419, Cobblestone Ct. Burlington.
