James Brophy

James Jim Thomas Brophy, 89, of Cedar Ridge Retirement Center, died on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at his residence. A native of Rochester, NY, he was the husband of Evelyn Mary Quetchenbach Brophy who survives and son of the late James J. and Alice Bolton Brophy. Jim was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII serving in the European Theatre. He is survived by his wife of the home, daughters and son-in-law, Mary C. and Thomas Winkel of Gibsonville, Karen M. Potter of Valencia, CA; sons and daughters-in-law, James T. Brophy and Margaret Keith of Sarnia, Canada, Stephen A. and Janeece Brophy of Manchester, NH, Kevin J. Brophy and Michele Maccaroni-Brophy of Canton, CT, Terrance M. and Ryoko Brophy of San Francisco, CA; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and sister and brothers-in-law, Marie and William Marshall of Ithaca, NY, Rev. Raymond Quetchenbach, S.V.D. of Chicago. The funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 15, 2007at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Rev. Raymond Quetchenbach, S.V.D. and Rev.
