James Clapp

James Lee Clapp, 66, of Burlington died on Friday, April 6, 2012 at his residence. He was a native of Alamance County and was a self-employed mechanic. He is survived by his mother, Earlie Mae Fogleman Clapp of Burlington and aunts, Eunice Simpson, Ola Overman, Ruth Straughn and Nancy Brown. He was preceded in death by his father, J.P. Clapp, grandparents, Early and Norvie Fogleman, and aunts, Lucy Moore and Alta Faye Loy. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Low's Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
