James Wilson

ELON- James Richard Wilson, age 80, died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Alamance after several months of failing health. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Lewis and Flossie Johnson Wilson and was married for over 36 years to Rachel Ingold Wilson, who survives. He retired from Sears, Inc. after many years of service and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of the home; daughter, Cheryl Loy and her husband, Dean, of Elon; and two grandchildren, Amber Petty and Chance Dean Loy, both of Elon. There will be a private burial. The family will receive friends after 4:00 p.m. on Monday at the home of Cheryl Loy, 1758 GibsonvilleOssipee Rd., Elon. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations be made to the family in c/o Cheryl Loy, 1758 Gibsonville-Ossipee Road, Elon, NC 27244.
