Jan-Erik Nordh, 66, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Lidké�ping, Sweden, he was the son of the late Herbert and Maj-Britt Wahlkvist Nordh and husband of Britt Maria Ahlander Nordh who survives.
He retired from Sandvik Group as Senior Vice President with over 48 years of service. He was a member of the Burlington-Alamance Chamber of Commerce, and was on the Board of Directors for Alamance Community College as well as Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Alamance Country Club.
Survivors include his wife, Britt Maria Ahlander Nordh of the home; daughters, Jessica Nordh, Linn-Marie Nordh, and husband Johan Fransson, all of Sweden; son, Glenn Nordh and wife Jordan of Mebane; 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
A private memorial service for the family will be held at 7:00pm Friday, March 24, 2017 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends and host a reception in honor of Jan-Erik following the service, beginning at 7:30pm.
