Jane Kippenhan

Mrs. Jane Kippenhan, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Twin Lakes Healthcare Center, Burlington, NC. Jane was born August 12, 1927, in Collinsville, IL to the late Stewart and Lillian Robinson. She grew up in Belleville, IL and graduated from Belleville High School. Mrs. Kippenhan was a former secretary with Liberty Mutual Insurance in St. Louis, and with the United Methodist Church in Hyde Park, NY for many years. She served as financial secretary at the Methodist Church as well. She was active with the Women's Society, serving for many years at the annual Election Day Dinner. She was a very active member of the Hyde Park United Methodist Church, and at Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, NC. She sang in church choirs most of her life and served on numerous church committees. Jane is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, B. William Kippenhan, and two daughters, Nancy Kippenhan and Lynn K. Lewis, and Lynn's husband, Andrew.
