Janice Marie Overman

Janice Marie Overman, 68 went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 29, 2026 at her home. She was a native of Alamance County and the daughter of the late Jesse Vernell Overman, Sr. and Marie Evans Overman.

Janice was employed for many years in the Textile Industry. She was a longtime member of Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed dancing, roller skating and ice skating. Jancie was a caring and thoughtful lady always looking to help someone. She was a dear friend and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Janice is survived by her brother, James Overman and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jesse B. Overman, Jr. and Jerry Glen Overman.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 11:00AM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Don Pegg. The family will receive friends from 9:45-10:45Am prior to the service. The burial will be at Gibsonville City Cemetery.
