Jay Jordan

Jay Comer Jordan, 46, of 329 Sundown Dr., died Sunday, September 17, 2006 at his home. A native of Burlington, NC, he was the son of Linwood E. Jordan and Peggy Comer Jordan, who survive. He was a graduate of North Carolina State University and was employed for Nationwide Insurance for over 29 years. He was a member of The National Structured Settlement Trade Association and also was a member of Beverly Hills United Church of Christ. Jay was a devoted husband and loved his wife, family, and his many friends. If you met Jay, you liked him, and if you knew Jay, you loved him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jay is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Mrs. Denice Deaver Jordan of Mooresville; his parents of Burlington; a brother, Jack Jordan, of Hillsborough, NC; a niece, Jacqueline Jordan of Raleigh; and a nephew, Lucas Jordan, of Hillsborough. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Jordan. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Rosser Clapp. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9-10:45 AM Wednesday morning, prior to the service, and at other times at the home of his parents, 719 Sellers Mill Rd., Burlington.
