Jean McDaniel

Mrs. Jean Carol Boswell McDaniel, age 78, of 512 Weaver Way, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008 at the Hospice Home. A native of Alamance County, she was wife of Charles G. McDaniel and daughter of Charlie Lee and Mattie Merle Hargrove Boswell. She was the owner of Burlington Blueprint Service and operated it from 1967 until 1985 when she sold the business but continued to manage it for several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Graham and the Helping Hand Sunday School Class. Mrs. McDaniel enjoyed music and playing the piano. Survivors include her husband, Charles G. McDaniel of the home; daughter, Karen McDaniel Hamilton of Youngsville; sons, Rickey McDaniel and wife Dennise of Graham and Kenneth W. McDaniel of Burlington; 2 grandchildren, Brandon Hamilton and Ashley McDaniel; 3 great grandchildren, Vespera, Samantha and Corben Hamilton; sister, Virginia Stewart of Graham; brothers, Harold Boswell and wife Shirley of Burlington, Dan Boswell and wife Penny of Graham, Charles Ronnie Pete Boswell and wife Billie of Burlington and Joel Boswell of Conway, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents and twin brother, Don Boswell. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Graham by Dr. David S. Kolb, pastor. Interment will follow in Graham Memorial Park. Mrs. McDaniel will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until being taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 6-8 PM Tuesday and at other times at the residence. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Graham; 224 N.
