Jeffrey "Jeff" Wayne Bolick, 70, passed away at his residence on Friday, April 3, 2026. He was born on August 8, 1955 in Alamance County to the late Vernon Bolick and Mary Lou Rainey Bolick.
A graduate of Eastern Alamance High School's Class of 1973, Jeff’s journey was one of service and commitment. He honorably served as an Army Veteran before starting his career as a Correctional Officer with the Detention Center under the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office. Throughout his career and beyond, Jeff was known not only for his professionalism but for his heart as a giver who consistently put family and loved ones first.
Jeff was an avid Carolina Tarheel fan and he delighted in watching all kinds of sports, always embracing the thrill of the game. He found comfort and joy in reading and had a particular fondness for Western movies. Those who knew him remember his warm spirit, his generosity, and his quiet strength.
Jeff leaves behind a treasured family who will deeply feel his loss. His son, Peyton Bolick and his wife Crystal, carry forward his legacy with love and admiration. His daughter, Kristen Ross and her fiancé, Kyle Spreill; a grandson, Chase Ross; his sister, Tonja Lashley and her husband Don; his brother, Dave Bolick and his wife Larae; and his brother-in-law, Jim Page, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his dear parents and a sister, Ann Bolick Page, who now join him in eternal peace.
A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at 11:00AM Friday, April 10, 2026 at McCray Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Ashley Rainey. Friends and family will gather to honor a man whose life was a testament to devotion, kindness, and strength.
Jeff Bolick’s legacy is one of love - love for his family, for his country, and for the simple joys that made his life so rich.
