Jerry Hilton, Jr.

Burlington, NC Jerry "Buck" Ronald Hilton, Jr., age 54, of Woody Lane passed away on Monday, May 10, 2010 at VA Medical Center in Durham. He was a native of Alamance County and the husband of Vernell Jefferson Hilton who survives. Jerry worked for many years at Liberty Saw Mill and he was a veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his wife of the home; step daughter, Debbie Hicks and her husband, Wayne of Reidsville; step son, Ralph Willard, Jr. of Reidsville; 5 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren; his mother, Hazel Murph Hilton of Whitset and a brother, Robert Lewis Hilton and his wife, Deborah of Elon; nieces, Joni Briana Hilton and Taylor McKay Hilton. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Ronald Hilton, Sr. and a brother, Johnny Enos Hilton. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 2:00pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Military honors will be provided by the 82nd Airborne Division from Ft. Bragg. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
