Jo Boswell

Jo Ann Hucks Boswell, 72, passed away Sunday, January 11th, 2009 at her home. She was born July 2, 1936 in Roanoke Rapids, NC to the late Ivey Otto and Annie Ballard Hucks. Jo Ann retired from Automotive Fasteners in Greensboro after many years of service. Survivors include her daughters; Faith Denise Hall of Raleigh, Penny B. Jones of Holly Springs, sons; Michael B. Boswell of Burlington, Mark R. Boswell of Gastonia, granddaughters; Heather Boswell Hall, Reese Boswell, a great granddaughter Alivia Hall, sisters; Eloise Miller of Greensboro, Marie Loewen of Chiefland, FL, a brother Charles L. Hucks of Burlington and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Vivian Clark and a brother Ivey Otto Hucks, Jr. There will be a celebration of her life 1:00 PM Saturday January 17th at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
