John Adair, Jr.

John Edward Adair, Jr., 86, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several months of failing health. He was born in Norfolk, VA to the late John E. Adair, Sr. and Ethel Adair. John had retired from Terminex and enjoyed bowling and watching wrestling. Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Adair of Whitsett, Robin Bill Hoff of Elon; sons, Allen Adair of San Antonio, TX, William "Billy" Sandra Adair of Graham; a sister Shirley Stalbaum of Whitsett; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Patricia A. Swann; a brother and a sister. The graveside service will be held 1:30 PM Friday at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 12:00 1:00 Friday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. prior to going to the cemetery for the service.
